Rookie Day
Rookie Day is held at the beginning of the Spring season. Coaches go over basic rules, skills and fundamentals of the game. A BBQ social follows. All players interested in learning about the game of rugby are encouraged to attend.

Members of the VRFC participate in Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, an event which asks men to literally walk one mile in women’s shoes while raising funds for The Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA).

Pub Crawl
The annual VRFC Fundraising Pub Crawl is held during the Spring season. The team sells cups that can be used for drink specials at participating bars.
Participating bars in past years have included:
